Traveler's Light

I’ll walk more closely to my Hope

Especially during times when Light is severely desired.

I write but I don’t provide what I create.

I write to remind myself the Truth.

Hopefully, others can hear it too.

To walk

Stories of the past isn’t always pleasant

But the necessity to refrain

From repeating the same mistakes is there.

You know it isn’t about lingering.

There’s one Story which I revisit.

Certainly, the truth isn’t far-off

Can I deliver it through words

Motivated by pure intentions?

I want to walk in it

With zealous feet.

Old planet

Its years aren’t young.

The temporary tent

Where sparrows are fed

Where flowers are best dressed

Shepherded by our Creator

It’s a vessel of life

It will continue to be

The planet in which we live

Oh, how it needs the hands which are ours.

The map for the traveler

The One who painted the sky

The One who picked its colors

Knew my name even before I can travel

He called me wonderful even before I can marvel.

Now the road is neither desolated nor scary

For He holds the light for me

He carries the map for me.

I get to walk with a companion.

While I was running quickly,

I was told not to hurry.

While I listen,

There is stillness.

It’s what every traveler needs.

Traveler’s Light

The heart dozed off

Yet deep down, it longs for certainty.

Do you know why?

For it was made for the truth.

The Lord turned the dark corners of the heart

Into one bright residence

Now, the feet will travel in light

They won’t go off the route.
